can easily be read and written by following a special formula. After
learning the formula, the magics in the book can be deciphered:
HOW TO WRITE IN ALVONDIR
1. Simplify the command and remove any suffixes (-ing, -ed).
Example: Drop spinning fire onto his head
Becomes: drop spin fire head
2. Move the last letter of each command to the second letter.
Example: drop spin fire head
Becomes: dpro snpi feir hdea
3. If this makes 2 consonants in a row at the beginning, add the
letter ‘i’ between them.
Example: dpro snpi feir hdea
Becomes: dipro sinpi feir hidea
4. If this makes the word end with a consonant letter, follow the
chart below to add a vowel:
